Window Will Not Stay Up

I have three windows that will not stay in the up position without some form of a prop. They are Pella windows but they do not display any model numbers.

I assume it’s so sort of balancing hardware that helps with staying in the open position. They are the same three windows and are single hung, no tilting mechanisms.

It does sound like an issue with the balances, yes, but I unfortunately cannot identify what you have based on these photos. We need to see a clear and unobstructed photo of the balance itself.
