Window arm guide part

Home Owner from Waukesha Wisconsin

Hello- my window has no identification on what kind it is. It is a swung open and opens with a crank window handle . It is then has a locking mechanism to latch it shut. There is an arm ( which is 3/8") wide on the inside of the window that is held into place with a plastic guide (1" in height) which is broke and needs replaced . The house is 15 years old . I cannot find this part anywhere. I have enclosed a picture of the plastic part that holds the arm in place . Can you help me identify it so I can order it . Thank You

Rob

Hello, Rob. If I understand your issue correctly, then it sounds like you need a new tie bar guide. These screw to the window frame and help keep the tie bar (that long, flat metal rod) stable.

We don't sell your exact style but you should be able to use our 39-448. These don't have to be exactly the same to work, since their function is so simple. They just have to screw on and hold the tie bar. Look it over and see what you think.
