Hello,

We'd be happy to help but I would like to see the end attachments of your balance from a few different angles to confirm the correct replacement option. Thank you!

Thank you for your response. Attached are additional photos. Please help identify the part I need to order.
Also, do I have to change both sides or replacing the one defective part is fine? Thanks

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380-33 or S385-33 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You'll also need 3250 spring strength options for your replacement balances.

We also recommend replacing both balances at the same time since replacing one will put additional strain on the new balance that will need to compensate for the older balance. Thank you and let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Thanks again. What is the spring strength option? Is it a part you sell? Is there one I should order (link please)? Thank you!

You'll see a list of strength options on the product pages of both balances we've mentioned. The 3250 strength option means that the balances that you purchase will support a window sash between 28 and 32 lbs.
