Thanks for posting. Sorry to hear the 5/8" Spiral Balances did not work for you. That is unfortunately the trick with these old spiral balances that had plastic outer tubes; the plastic is flimsy and tends to become brittle over time, making measurements a real pain. If the 5/8" was too big, though, 3/8" is really the only other choice. If the outer tube, up to and not included the colored tip is 30" long, then see our S900-30.
