Window balance

Thanks for reaching out to us. We're happy to look into this but I can't see how the balance connects to the pivot shoe. There should be some kind of attachment at the end of the pulley cord. Can you show us a photo of that? Can you also confirm the length of the metal channel? Note that you'll have to use an undamaged reference of the part for us to ID it. 

Thank you! It looks like the S770-20 may be your best bet based on what you show here. I know it looks different, but the terminal clip will still anchor to your existing pivot shoe. Take a look at the specifications and see what you think.

You will also note that the Series 770 uses a different stamp than yours, so we'll need you to weigh the sash on a scale and get back to us with the precise weight. That will help us determine the proper stamp option for the replacement balances. 

Thanks for confirming. You should be able to use the 20C stamp option. A pair of balances with this option will support a sash weighing 14 to 18 pounds. 

If the sash weight were to be over 18 pounds, you could use the 20D stamp option. This would support a sash weighing 18 to 22 pounds.
