Window balance

A quick learner from Florida says:
Hi

I attached some pics from my window, the balance is sticking out because the plastic that covered the window balance broke while opening the window .

I would appreciate an part number , name to replace the broken one. In the pictures above there is one whole one and the other side that is broken with the balance sticking out at the top.

Hi Dorina! If my eyes are not deceiving me, it appears that your top sash guide is broke. Before we can begin searching for an appropriate replacement, I would like for you to send us some photos of one of the guides removed from the window and if it can be as undamaged as possible, that would be fantastic. We need to have photos of the front and side (similar to a mugshot if you will). If you could also provide dimensions, that would be a big help.

I am also going to place a video below I feel you may find useful.

Thanks for the reply. I took some pictures of the sash cam.

Thank you for the additional photo. Take a look at our 18-042 top sash guide and let me know if you believe this part will work for you.
