I need 3 of these balances, but am unsure of which color tip is needed. Are there any other parts needed for install?

Sure, I think we can help. Can you confirm the diameter of the outer tube? If it's 3/8", I recommend our Series 900 spiral balance. If it's 5/8", I recommend our Series 600. For the tip color, I recommend weighing your sash on a scale to confirm the best option. Finally, you may find our 75-006 helpful for installation. See our related video for more information.

You still need to measure the diameter of the tube to choose a Series. As well, can you confirm that the tube is 28" long?

It is 28" long but the spiral seems to be longer on the broken ones.it is 3/8

What is the diameter of the white plastic tube over the spring? The tube length, not the spiral length, determines the length of the balance, and the diameter of the plastic, not the metal, is how you measure the diameter.
