Window balance

Question

I measure the length to be 26 3/4in. Stamped on  old balance is 26 2. what do I use for replacement?

I'm afraid I cannot tell what you have based on this information. We will need to see a picture of your balance out of the window in order to identify a match. Specifically, we will need a picture of the top and bottom nylon attachments, the metal hook at the end of the cord, and of the stamp. I'd also like to know how many you need. Thank you!
