Window balance

Quick Learner from California
Hello,

A couple of the windows in my condo have slipped off their balances and I am having trouble identifying the parts. The smaller window has a stamp that says 33 9 GR Caldwell, but I am not sure which part to select on your website. The larger window does not have a stamp, but I assume it is a Caldwell also. They are both 1/2" wide. The larger window balance is 27" long. I am not sure how long the smaller window balance is--it is still stuck between the window and the frame.

Hi there. At first glance your balance look like our Series 385 channel balance. Look it over and see if you agree. To get the length of the balances in question, you will need to measure it from metal to metal excluding the nylon fittings. Once you have measured the length of each balance, you will need to weigh your sash on a scale and refer to the sash chart on the Series 385 product page to determine which stamp option would work for your spring strength of the replacement balance. Get back to us if you should have any further questions.
