Window balance

Quick Learner from Phoenix AZ
Just want to make sure I am ordering the right parts. I have several windows that use the pictured part. The metal casing measures 28" and 27 3 is stamped on it. I also have 2 windows that measure 34" and have 33 3 stamped on it. I think the right parts are shown above on the screenshot of my cart. Can you confirm?

For your channel balance, take a look at our S351-28 and S390-28. Compare the 'depth' measurement of your bottom balance shoe with each balance to determine which of the two is more compatible to yours. Use the diagram below as a guide. Whichever one chosen will go with a 2730 option that holds a sash weight of 13-19 pounds. As for your top sash guide, it's hard to make out its full shape with it still installed in the window. Could you remove it and send us a few more photos of it from different angles for us to take a look at? It's also best to include measurement of the guide to help us narrow down which one to recommend.

It's definitely one of these two, but the bottom shoe depth on mine is 1 1/16". Attached is a close up pic of the shoe. Should I assume the shoe is worn down at little (or I'm not measuring correctly) and order the 390 series?

Thank you! I'm still not sure what the depth is from this photo, unfortunately. I'm personally leaning towards the Series 390 but you really ought to measure the depth of the bottom fitting to confirm. To do this, stand the balance straight up, just like how it is while it's installed. Then pretend that the bottom fitting is a foot, or shoe. Measure the "heel to toe" distance. If it's 1-1/8", then the Series 390 is what you want.

As for the top sash guide, we're still looking into it. I hope to get back to you ASAP with news one way or the other.

Thanks again for your patience. Unfortunately, we have not been able to find a good match for this top sash guide. The best match we've been able to track down is our 18-188. I cannot guarantee that it will work, but I think it's at least worth reviewing. I'm sorry that we couldn't find anything closer.
