I'm looking for a 27 in. window balance for a non-tilt window. Width of channel is 1/2 in. Sash weight range on channel says 2650.
It looks like the 27 in. Series 385 channel balance shown on the website would fit. Could you please confirm ?

Hello Sabine, thank you for writing in. The important parts to look at when determining the correct series are the plastic attachments at the top and bottom of the metal channel. The Series 385 has wings on both parts, which yours does not appear to have. It looks to me to be either our Series 351 or Series 390. The difference between the Series 351 and Series 390 lies in the depth of the shoe. Take a look at the picture below for more detail. Once you have determined this dimension you should be able to select the appropriate balance.
