Window balance

A landlord from Cleveland Ohio says:

I have a window balance that is 1/2/ in wide and it has a tongue on it with a single round hole with the stamping 8 K on it.

If the coil is 1/2" wide, based on its tongue I would say this is most likely our Series 152 Coil Balance. A coil stamped 8 would be an S152-8 8 pound spring. Look it over and let me know if this seems to match what you need.
