Tip has two pins through the metal
plastic is red
length is 25" not including the plastic tip
diameter is hard to tell. it's kind of oval/flattened due to the screw
the shorter side is 1/2" the longer is 9/16"

Thanks for reaching out to us. It sounds like a spiral balance for a tilt window, but without photos that is just an educated guess. If I'm right, though, then you should consider our Series 600 spiral balance, which has a 9/16" diameter tube.
