Thanks for posting! I am confident we can supply you with the replacement coil balance assemblies you need, however, I'll need a bit more information to confirm.

To start, I'll need to see a photo of the coil balance shoe removed from the window. I'll also need to know any stamps/markings from the metal coils. This is what will indicate the spring strength needed for your coils to support the weight of your sash.

Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

There are no markings on the balance springs. The sash weighs 28.8 lbs.

Thanks for confirming this information. The last piece of requested information I'll need from you is the photo of the shoe. It would be best to see the shoe removed from the window. It is likely still connected to the bottom of the sash.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for the photos. Your coil balance assembly appears to be an older discontinued Simonton shoe that is no longer available. For this, we typically recommend our 15-192 Certainteed pivot shoe to replace your Simonton brand part but you may need to shave down the aligners from the shoe to install it into the window. Take a look at the dimensions to confirm if it may work for you.

These are compatible with the Series 170 coil balances as well as the Series 171. The S171 is stacked on top of the S170 in situations where there is more than one coil. You would need the S170-407 and the S171-407 (to be used on the double coil). The compatible cover is part 15-156 and the balance drum part 15-157.

You compatible pivot bar looks similar to the 26-336 Simonton Pivot Bar. Take a look over the dimensions to see if this will be a fit for your window.
