Window balance

Question

Hi, I'm looking to replace the window balances on a vinyl single hung window. The balance is 1/2" wide and it measures 33" from end of metal to end of metal. The sash weighed 29 lbs when I put it on the scale. I have attached pictures of the current balance and I'm hoping you can help me find the right one. It looks like one of the plastic ends is broken on it so I don't know how to get the correct measurement for that.

Thanks for your photos. Based on what I see here, you have either our S380-33 or S385-33, depending on the depth of the bottom shoe. That's the only difference between them. If your plastic shoe is too broken to measure, you'll need to get an undamaged balance for a better reference. There is no other way to confirm this so that's a necessary step. You won't be able to figure out what you need otherwise.

Lastly, with a sash weight of 29 pounds, you can use our 3250 stamp option. Two balances with this option can carry a load of 28 through 32 pounds.
