Need to replace window balance similar to this one for double hung window

Thanks for posting. This looks like the 15-180 Pivot Shoe, which works with Series 190 Coil Balances. See the 15-181 Double Support and 15-182 Bushings as well. Let me know if you have further questions.

Here is a picture of the broken side. Both the coil balance shoe and the double support clip are broken. Can I reuse the coil balance? I have no idea if there is a stamp on it to determine the type. How difficult would it be to reuse it?

If the springs are in good condition then they can be reused, but if even one spring is damaged then you should really replace all of them. You never want to mix old and new springs if you can help it.
