Window balance

Question

I would like to order a pair of window balances to replace broken ones. Here are several pictures of the old balance. It is 29in stamped 28-D so a 2840. This balance is mounted on (in) the window. No clips on the frame. Bottom is 7/8 deep.

Thanks for posting! The replacement balances for your window will need to be a custom assembly given the 7/8" depth measurement from your shoe. These will need to be assembled with the 15-029 Winged Channel Balance Shoe.

Regarding the 2840 stamp, be sure to double check that you sash weight falls between 23 to 28lbs.
