Window balance

Home Owner from Richmond, CA
Hello,
I have a 2' x 3' window in my bathroom that used to slide open and closed smoothly, but now two pieces have fallen out and the window no longer fits in the frame. My research indicates these are called balances.
1. they fell out from between the window frame
2. I lost one one of them, will need some kind of replacement
I would love to be able to send photos, they are white plastic pieces with metal coil spring inside.
Thanks,
john

Hi John,

Thanks for writing in! I'm happy to recommend replacement balances for you window; however, I will need to see photos of the original hardware to identify the correct replacements.

The photos can be uploaded directly to this discussion thread for me to review.

Please feel free to reach out with any other questions you might have in the meantime.

Thanks for the additional information. The part you have is the 15-102 Double Side Load Carrier. It is used with the Series 145 Balance Springs.

You'll need to  confirm the exact sash weight to determine the stamps needed for the assemblies. Take a look at the video tutorial tagged below for a detailed explanation.
