Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm afraid the stamp on the balance isn't a part number so we'll need more information to ID your balance. Can you show us a photo of the bottom of the balance? We'd like to see the clip or attachment attached to the end of the pulley string.

If this is a non-tilt window, take a look at the related video on the removal steps.

Does this help?  The balance is about 15 3/4 inches.

Thank you for the additional photos! Your balance looks like a match for the Series 770 but the metal channel should measure 15" long. Your 15TG stamp also doesn't match up with our options. Can you weigh the window sash and tell us the precise weight? Can you also confirm whether your balance installs with a screw or a clip of some kind?

You can reuse the pivot shoe if it's in good shape but if you need a new one, start by taking a look at the 15-167. You'll just have to remove the old one and compare the specifications to see if they match up.

The sash is 17.2 pounds and the balance is 16". The balance you recommended looks like it will work. The shoe looks like it will work I also need a pivot pin as you can see from pics I have a broken one. Let me know what parts you think I need. Once in know what pivot pin to get I think I can order. Thanks.

Thanks for getting back to us. Take a look at the S770-16 with the 16D stamp option. A pair of balances with this stamp will support a sash weighing 16 to 19 pounds.

We'd be happy to ID the pivot bar, but we must see the old one removed from the sash along with written out dimensions.

It's 3" long, 1/4 wide and the holes are approx 1.5" apart on center and 1/4 wide. See pic. It's also bi-level which I don't think is critical but you tell me. Thanks

Thank you! Take a look at the 26-377. This pivot bar looks like your old one. Review the specifications below and see what you think.
