Window balance

A home owner from MD says:
I need a "balance" for my MI Home Products Series 9500 Double Hung mechanical window. I have attached 2 pictures. One is the broken side and the other is the good side.
I assume I need a new one, or can it be re-assembled?
Also, does it come with installation instructions?
Thanks John

Thanks for contacting us, John. I made up a list of related parts for your window on the upper right hand side of this page. Majority of the time, the pivot shoe or Series 190 coil spring breaks. If it is the coil spring you need to have replaced, we will need the number stamped on the end of the spring that is screwed to the pivot shoe.
A quick learner from New Mexico says:
I believe it is the pivot shoes that are broken on both sides of the upper window of this double hung window. See photo attached. I do not know the manufacturer of the window. Please advise as to what I need or order to make this repair.

Thank you.

Looks like you also need the 15-180 Pivot Shoe, which uses the Series 190 Coil Balances. Let me know if you have any further questions.
