Window balance B.S.I. 2540K

Question

Hi Swisco Experts,

I have a window balance stamped B.S.I. 2540K (see photo), and need to replace it (and its pair).

It appears to have the dimensions of other "2540" units on the internet*
26in
5/8″ (16 mm) Depth
13 mm (?) width
Also shown (separate photos) are close up of the guides.

Do you have a corresponding window balance, and guides , in your inventory?

It looks like you need either the series 380 or Series 385 balances. The difference lies in the shoe. The series 385 balance has the 15-004 shoe which is 1 3/32" deep from front to back. The Series 380 has the 15-005 shoe which is 1" deep. If you measure your shoe you should be able to determine which one you need. Please let me know if you have other questions. One you choose the series, you would pick a 26" with a 2540 stamp option. Hope that helps.
