Window balance ID
BT1430 - Window Balance - qty 14
BT930 - Window Balance - qty 2
They both have the pictured attachments
The attachment in your first picture looks like our 19-002, but I can't tell what the attachment in your second picture is. I cannot determine its exact dimensions. It could be either our 15-001 or 15-002. If it's our 15-001, you want our Series 390. If it's our 15-002, then you want our Series 351 instead.
Thank you. Is either Series 390 or 351 balances available with a 30 lb capacity?
Also, what is the lead time for above as well as a 9-30 balance?
All the best,
Mario
Depending on the length you are looking for, yes that is possible for both the Series 351 and Series 390. What length balance are you looking for?
Oh wow, I get it now. I'm sorry for the confusion, I didn't realize that those numbers were the stamps printed on your balance. Let me readjust my mindset here.
So we have two balances: a 1430 and a 930. Can you confirm the weight of your sash for each? Did you weigh it on a scale to get 30 pounds, or did you go by the stamp? If you went by the stamp, I would double check. A stamp ending in "30" doesn't mean the sash weighs 30 pounds, that's just a sequential code to represent a specific range. For example, a 15" long metal channel stamp printed with "1430" can carry 10 through 12 pounds. That's how much your first sash should weigh. I highly recommend weighing it on a scale to confirm.
You should do the same for the 930 balance. That one will be a bit more complicated though; a 10" balance isn't a standard size. We'll have to custom make it for you. It shouldn't be an issue, we do it all the time, but since the sash weight is in question I'd like you to confirm its exact weight before we get started. Custom balances cannot be returned for a refund if they're wrong so I'd like to be 100% sure that your springs will be calibrated properly.
Hey, Mario. This looks like the same balance we were talking about back in February. Did you see my last post on 2/26/19? I had a bunch more questions I needed you to answer before we could get to the bottom of this.
You also never confirmed whether you had the Series 351 or Series 390. Look those over and tell me which one is the better option. The only difference between them is the size of the bottom fitting.
Thank you!
All the best,
Mario
