This piece is broken - balance tube is 34" long with a pale green end. Width of shoe is 3/8 & the other is 5/16.

Hi Joe. Check out our 15-045 Pivot Shoe. Go over the dimensions to confirm this matches your old pivot shoe. Is the diameter of your spiral balance's outer tube 3/8"? If so, then see our S900-34. You will need a green tip option, which is for a window sash in the weight range of 14 through 26 lbs. Let me know if you have any other questions.

My balance rod is 34 inches long by 1/2 wide see photo the shoe is the right size

Can you double-check the tube diameter further along the balance? It's a bit difficult with these old plastic tubes, but I suspect this is closer to 5/8". Let me know.
