I have a 30" window balance with a 1/2" wide channel that has a broken cable, as seen in the attached pictures. The metal spring, plastic fittings, and other aspects of the window balance are in working order, only the cable is broken.
The stamp on the channel is: 29-5 CD5 CMC 45. The sash weighs 20 lbs.
It seems excessive to replace the entire window balance just because the cable has broken, but it seems like I might have to do that.
I want to confirm that your product number S380-30 can replace my part, and that I should purchase a pair so that I have two new balances for the window. Thank you for your time.

Hello,
We can supply your replacement balances but it will need to be a custom order due to the extended travel pulley system and unique combination of end attachments. Unforutnately, stock balances like the S380 would not be suitable for your windows. We just sent over an order link and price quote for two balances since it is important to replace the assemblies on both sides to ensure the sash is evenly supported.
