These photos are the parts from my window. There are no cutouts in the window frame for easy removal of the part in the jamb.

Just got off the phone with Chris at Atrium Windows. After sending him pictures of my window he is convinced that my window is not an Ellison window. Apparently, I have an Ellison warranty and someone else's window. The contractor, Premiere Designs, Inc, ripped me off.

Thanks for posting. I'm not sure about the brand, but the shoe resembles our 15-087. If you agree, then I would consider our Series 180 coil spring balance. Also see the video below on how to remove a pivot shoe from the window.
