Window balance mechanism

Hello, I have these old windows and would like to replace the balance mechanisms on the side but am having trouble finding the parts. Some of the windows won't stay open and some are just very difficult to open (feel stuck).

Thanks for posting. It looks like you have spiral balances. I am sure we can help, but we'll need you to remove the balances from the window and send us a few details to identify them properly. See the videos below. We'll be happy to help from there.

Thanks. Here are more pictures. The length is 34" and the diameter is 3/8". There is no color on the tip, but the window weight is 22.4lbs. I also included the pivot which I have several to replace as well.

Perfect, thanks. Based on your report, use the S900-34 Spiral Balance. For a window sash that weighs 22.4 pounds, choose the Green Tip option. Finally, for the pivot shoe, it looks 1" wide but there are a number of options depending on the thickness. See the 15-134, 15-173, 15-211 or 15-212. Yo will need to measure your shoe's width and thickness to confirm the right match.
