The stamp on the old balance looks like 2348--hard to tell. Looks more like an 8 than a 0. I see you don't have 2348...

The stamped number on your balance only indicates the spring strength. In order for us to determine which balance would make a match for you, we need the length of the metal portion of the balance as well as the channel width. Additionally, we would need to make some visual comparisons between your balance and ours. Could you upload some photos of your balance to us.

The metal portion is 24" & the channel width 1/2". The only one I have is old, rusty & broken. The bottom foot is busted. I have no idea the shape it is supposed to be. It looks similar to the S380.

Do you possibly have an intact balance from a different window of the same size? Or possibly the balance from the opposite side of the window? That would be a good reference.
