Question

The number on the part is 26 4 FJ. They are 27" long and 1/2" deep. The sash ways 17.5 pounds. Can you help me figure out if this is a 380 or 385 and how much weight?

I agree that with ith this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380-27 or S385-27 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You'll also need a 2640 spring strength option for your replacement balances based on your (26 4) stamp.
