Window balance shoe and pin

A quick learner from Haddon Twp, NJ says:
Hello - I need the balance shoe and pin for my replacement vinyl windows. I bought them in 2010; from a company that went out of busines a few years later. How do you get the balance shoe out and new one in? And I need the parts too.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for writing in, Nancy. Unfortunately, your coil balance system has been discontinued. However, it since has been replaced with our S140-5 balance system. The pivot bar that will go with this system is the 26-405. To remove the the old balance system and install the new one, the  first thing to do is to see if the track has a cut out. It's usually located behind the window stop. See if that's where yours are found. If not, I encourage you to look at the media guides on this page to offer assistance on making a cut out.

Thank you so much! I will likely have to make a cut. I don?t think there?s a cut out in the track currently.

Thank you again!
