Window balance spring

Thanks for writing in. I'm confident we can replace this coil balance assembly, but we'll need more information. I'd like to see the pivot shoe that the coil springs attach to; the pivot shoe is the block further down the window track that the sash tilts from. I'd also like to know the thickness of the coil tape; it should either be 1/2" or 3/8" thick. Removing the assembly is the best way to do all this. The video below explains how. We'll do our best to find what you need thereafter.
