Window balance stamped 28 9

Question

Hi, could you possible help me determine best balances to order?  My sash balances are marked 28-9 AA CMC 7.  They do not have any other stamps or markings. About 12 years old from window company called NuAir in Fla. (went out of business but may have been rejuvenated of late). These are all aluminum frame impact glass windows so the sash weighs in at 32 to 33 pounds on 12 of them and I have 2 sashes that are slightly wider (same height) that weigh around 39 pounds.   The balance measures 28 inches from bottom of plastic part to bottom of other plastic part, but the actual metal part measures just under 29 inches.  photos attached.  Thanks for you help!

Sure, we can replace these. Based on your stamp of 28-9, this balance should be exactly 29" long. Make sure to only measure the metal channel, don't count the plastic parts. Can you confirm? If so, our S385-29 looks like a great match. For the sashes weighing 32 through 33 pounds, our 2860 option should work great.

The sash weighing 39 pounds is another matter. That would have to be specially made. I'd just like you to confirm that the this is identical to the other balance in every other way.
