Window balance won't stay open

The best place to start at this stage is for you to remove an undamaged version of this balance from the window and show us some clear pictures of it by itself and unobstructed. I need to see its top end, bottom end, any stamp or marking you see, and any fittings attached to it, either the cord or the balance itself.

Once I have that data I can check our inventory for a potential match.
