Thanks for posting. I'm afraid this stamp code does not tell us enough; I need more information to be able to help. Could you provide pictures of this channel balance, including any end attachments? And could you confirm the length of the metal channel (not including the end attachments)? This will help narrow down what you might need. Thanks!

The channel is 27" over all. I will send pictures also.
Thank you.

Perfect, this is exactly what we needed. Thank you! See our S385-27 channel balance with a 2640 stamp. I feel pretty confident that this is what you need. It comes with the 19-005 top and 15-004 bottom nylon attachments, so as long as those match you should be good to go. Look this hardware over and see what you think.

Did this part work for the customer? I have exactly the same model 26-4 ox cmc 7 as he described. It appears to a company named Atrium Windows. It has a hook at top of string and an eye fitting that goes over the hook on spring. Make sense? Thanks.

I'm afraid the customer who made this thread never got back to us. That said, it's important to keep in mind that the stamp is not a model number. All that tells us is how much weight the spring can support. I recommend watching the video below to get a better idea of what details are important when it comes to identifying a balance. At this stage, I don't know if your assembly is the same as this other customer's. There are dozens of different models that use the 26-4 stamp.
