Window balancer

Question

I'm working on some wood double hung from the 60s. These springs are broken on a couple. I took this one off to show. Can you help.

I measure 23 1/4" X 1/2".

Hello! This looks like a very old wood window balance. This likely hasn't been made in decades, but the good news is that we have a more modern replacement that we find works just as well. See our 9/16" diameter Series 500 and 17-012 bracket (sold separately). Using these two products together will allow you to get our newer balance design to work on your older window sash. We have a lot of success with this combination and I am optimistic that it will work for you.
