Hello, this is 3/8" Dia and 29" long tube.
The prongs are approximately 1/2" apart. Will your 900 yellow top replace this?

Thanks for posting. Based on the dimensions provided, the S900-29 Spiral Balance will indeed work as a replacement. I can't tell what color tip you need from this photo. If in doubt, weigh the window sash to determine the right color. Let me know if you have questions.

I'm sure it would be the heaviest one, my concern is the " spring end, will the new one mount correctly?

As long as this spiral balance was for a tilt window, then I do not think this will be an issue and the Series 900 is our closest match. Those prongs are at different spaces to accommodate possible pivot shoe brackets--so long as you can connect the spiral rod to the shoe, you should be good to go.
