Window balancer

A quick learner from North Port FL says:
I have a 29 inch window balancer marked 28D on the bottom. I saw a post about it could be a 380 or 385 type balancer. How do you tell the difference between the two different types of shoes that are provided on the 380 and 385 types?

Paul from SWISCO responded:
The depth of the shoe is the difference between the two Series. You will need to measure yours, and then refer to the dimensions we show for both balances to confirm the best match.
