Window balancers

No known markings just not sure where to start looking. I have never seen a balancer like this.

Hello,

You have an old-style rod balance that is no longer available. We should be able to supply modern replacements but we would need to see the fitting attached to the end of the pulley cord of an undamaged balance to confirm. Thank you!

Here are a few more photos of the balancers to see if we can get replacements.

Unforutnately, there seems to be an error with our system preventing your photos from coming through. We're working on it but, in the meantime, we'd appreciate it if you could send your photos to help@swisco.com with reference number D347741.

I took some more photos. Just wondering if I still follow the same directions as the photo since some of the parts and the may they attach are different? Also do you have the vinyl cover pieces like the one in the photo?

Great! These photos help but we'll still need to see the attachment at the end of the pulley cord to confirm the correct replacement. Unforutnately, we do not carry replacement balance covers but a local hardware store may be able to supply them.

Perfect! Your balances would be replaced by the S770 channel balances. You'll need to measure the length of an intact balance and weigh the window sash they support to choose the correct specifications for your replacements.

We did carry a replacement for your pivot shoes at one time but, unfortunately, it was discontinued and is no longer available. If you need new pivot bars, see the 26-271 below.

So as long as my pivot blocks and pivot pins are good they will work with the s770 channel balancers?

Yes, the balances should work with your original pivot shoes since the new balances use a similar terminal clip to the old-style rod balances. You'll just need to determine the length and spring calibration. The pivot bars will also work as long as the dimensions match your original part.
