Hello I am going to need 10 of these balancers. Can you tell me the part number?

Thanks for writing in. Confirm that your balance's metal channel, not including the nylon attachments at either end, is 27" long. If so, see either our S380-27 or S385-27. The only difference between these two balances is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe, so compare both with your old balance to determine the best match. The balance you show in the photos has a stamp code of 26 4; this conforms to our stamp option of 2640. Let us know if you have any questions.

Yes, despite being a very small difference, the depth of the nylon show will affect how well your balance fits in the window track. The best thing to do honestly is to not overthink it. The depth of the nylon shoe is simply the distance between the 'heel' and 'toe' of the shoe at its widest point, just beneath and perpendicular to where the metal channel ends. If it's at all greater than 1", then you're working with a Series 385. If it's 1" or even slightly less (which can happen from wear and tear), then you have yourself a Series 380

If you're really unsure, you can always go with the Series 385, and if it proves too deep, you can shave down the shoe to the right size. Just keep in mind that we cannot take returns on modified hardwareutt of the show.

Thank you!

Oh, in case I get the "depth" wrong, is it make or break the fit?
