Window balances

Hello there,

I have this window from Republic windows and doors that needs both balances. I have included the model sticker in the photo section which also provides the size of the window. Would you be able to determine the size and style of the balances for the window from the label? Please advise. Thanks Frank

Hey Frank. Unfortunately no, as there's still some certainty even when we know the manufacturer and size of the window--the exact height of the glass, the sash weight and other factors all matter, and even then we tend to find variation. The best thing to do is to remove the existing balances and show us pictures of the stamp on the balance, as well as attachments at either end of the metal channel. We should be able to narrow this down from there. The videos below show how to remove and replace channel balances for non-tilt windows, as well as how to identify them. Let me know if these procedures don't seem to apply to your application, send photos, and we'll try and find a better remedy.
