Window balances

Quick Learner from San Diego
Need two window balances and the metals clips that go with them. Not certain which I should get.

The window slides up and down. To get the window out I would open the clips, slode the window open, and I could shimmy it out.

Hello, thank you for posting,

We should be able to assist with a replacement balance, but we will need to see an undamaged version of the top attachment to confirm the series needed. Is the other side undamaged that we could view? Thank you!

In hindsight, I should have led with this one.

Here you go.

Thank you!

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380 or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

For the length, only measure the metal channel excluding the nylon attachments. There should be a number on the metal channel that will indicate the spring strength option needed to support the sash. If there is no number present, you will need to weigh the window sash and compare to the strength chart on the product page to determine the correct option before adding to your cart.

Let me know if you have any additional questions!
