The part is 16" end to end. I would like to buy a new one

This looks like our Series 700 balance. You'd choose S700-16 if your balance has a 16" metal bar. There is an additional weight option that you'll need to choose before placing an order. Remove and weigh your window sash to choose an option from the chart in the S700-16 webpage product description.
