Window ballast

Hi there!
Thank you for reaching out to us. It looks like your balance has winged top and bottom fittings which point to the Series 380, Series 385, or Series 378. The difference between them is the depth of the bottom shoe as shown below. Can you measure yours and tell us what you find?
Based on the 23DS37 and 35DS37 stamps, the window sashes should weigh 37 pounds. If that's correct, these balances would fall within our stock weight range. However, the 29DS48 balance might have to be a custom strength calibration. Can you confirm that the window sash weighs 48 pounds? It also couldn't hurt to confirm the other windows weigh 37 pounds, just to be safe.

Yes, the window is 37 lbs. The size of the shoe is1 3/32". Would you abe able to give me a list of models I should get for the corresponding legths? Also, do you have something for the 37lbs window? Thanks.

You'd want the Series 385 if the bottom shoe measures 1-3/32" deep. Do all of the window sashes weigh 37 pounds?
If so, you can use the 2370 or 2375 stamps for the S385-24. A pair of balances with the 2370 stamp will support a sash weighing 34 to 37 pounds. A pair of balances with the 2375 stamp will support a sash weighing 37 to 40 pounds. Either of these options should be fine as long as the sash is 37 pounds.
For the S385-30, you can select the 2965 stamp option. A pair of balances with this stamp will support a sash weighing 35 to 39 pounds.
For the S385-36, you can select the 3560 stamp option. A pair of balances with this stamp will support a sash weighing 35 to 39 pounds.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
