Metal is 27" long; one of them has 26 4 JR Caldwell marked on it. I already put in an order for 385 series 2ea 2640 and 2ea 2630 because I have 2 different size windows. Didn't see this expert help until I placed order.

Thanks for posting. This certainly looks like an S385-27. The only other possibility would be the S380-27, which has a shoe depth of 1", while the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" shoe. See the diagram below for reference. Let me know if you have any other issues or questions.

Well it measures closer to 1 3/32 to me but I did find a number stamped on the shoe. 15P102 then a 6 under it. I didn't even think to look!
Not the best picture but wanted to confirm the number positioning.

I'm afraid that code doesn't verify the better shoe, but size definitely does. If it's 1-3/32" deep then the Series 385 is definitely my top recommendation.
