Window channel balance

I would like to know what to purchase to replace this window channel balance. It measures 27 inches.

Hello,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380-27 or S385-27 channel balance. You'll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You'll also need a 2630 spring strength option for your replacement balances.

There is a good chance the nylon fittings will be the same, but I can't say the same for the stamping. I am not sure all of your windows will have the same sash weight, so it's best to look at each one to see if the stamping is different. You may want to also have a peak at the nylon fittings on each balance, just to confirm they are all the same.

I have other windows throughout the home that need window channel replacement. I understand that the metal length might be different, but will series bottom attachment (once I figure out of it's 380 or 385) and the 2630 spring strength be the same for the rest of the windows?
