Window channel balance

Question

Hello. Need to replace this part. Has 24 3 stamped on it. Also when I open the window to the top it rocks inside of the frame. Am I supposed to have some type of clip to connect the balance to the frame? I only have two holes there but no clip.

Thanks for posting. I think we can help you replace these balances, but I need a little more information to be able to help. First off, can you show us clearer pictures of the nylon attachments at both ends of the metal channel? Secondly, as far as the balances rocking goes, is this something that always happened, or only after the balance broke? Let us know, many thanks.
