on the side of the broken window channel balance it is stamped 28 3. does that mean that the correct replacement part is 2830?

Thanks for writing in. The stamp code 28 3 indicates that you'll need our stamp option of 2830. But to know what balance Series you need, we'll need to see pictures of the nylon fittings at either end of the balance. Many thanks.

Here are pics of the nylon fitting. Please confirm that I should purchase either 2830 or some other size

Thanks

Thanks for getting back to me. We're getting there. I'm afraid I still need to see a picture of the nylon fitting at the other end of the balance. These fittings are very specific to each Series of balance, so it's important to see both to know what you need to order. Once you know what balance Series you need, you'll know you need a 2830 stamp option. Many thanks.

Sorry. Here are the photos you wanted. Please let me know if 2830 is what I need.

Thanks

Thanks, that's what I needed to see. Just make sure that your balance's metal channel, not including the nylon fittings, is 29" long. If so, then this is either an S351-29 or S390-29. The only difference between these two balances is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. Compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. No matter which balance it is, you'll want to select a stamp option of 2830.
