Referred to you by AMS construction service company president, Brian, please help me identify non tilt window channel balance part #. It is stamped: 29 3 HT CMC 4

Thanks for reaching out to us! I've narrowed down a few possible replacements for your balances but I'll need to see just one more photo to confirm the exact replacements. May I see a photo of the pulley system in the center of the balance? This is where the spring and string meet in the middle.

Hi Jasmin,

Thank you for your quick response! Please see five photo of pulley system in this channel balance. Blue tape is the top area, the hook is the bottom area. I weight the window sash and it is about 25 lb.

I don't know if the stamp information indicates a different weight?

Thanks for the photos of the pulley. Your balances can be replaced with either the S380-30 with a 1" shoe or the S385-30 with a 1-3/32" shoe. To determine which series you need, carefully compare the dimensions for the dimension for the depth of your shoe.

Since your balance is stamped with a 29 3, I would typically suggest using the 2930 stamp option; however, this would only support a sash weighing 16 to 23lbs. Given your 25lb sash weight, you'll need to use the 2940 which can support 23 to 28lbs.
