I am also not sure what sash weight range to purchase my home was built in 2010 with the regular everyday up and down windows.

Thanks for posting. Depending on the depth of your bottom balance shoe you will need either our S380-23" balance (1"shoe) or our S385-23" balance (1-3/32" shoe). Take a look at the dimensions printed on each balance photo to see where to measure. For your spring weight option of 22D please choose our option 2240. Get back to us and let us know your thoughts.

Received the replacement but the new replacement seems much thicker and when I put the channel balances in I can't get the window in because of the thinkness on the replacement part. Here's a photo.

The one I purchased as a replacement per your recommendation was too thick. They will fit in the window fine but the window won't fit as they stick out too far.

It's hard to make out the difference between the balances in your new picture. It doesn't appear to be a significant difference. The manufacturer of your old balance is no longer in business and the Series 380 should work for you. I've personally used it many times for this make of window. See the video below for more detailed instructions on how these install.
