Window channel balance BSI 32_3

Question

Hello, I want to replace a few old window channel balances (installed ~ 2003 or 2004) but they are probably discontinued. The marking is BSI 32 3 (there really is a blank space between 32 and 3 so I do not know the actual pane weight rating). The metal part is exactly 32" long x 1/2" wide.

I have a few dimensions: the plastic bottom part (with the wheel inside) is 1 5/16 or 1 3/8 total length and 1 1/8 deep. It has wings 1/2 long, which bring the total width to 7/8 (both wings + central channel width). The top part is 1 1/4 total visible length x 3/4 depth. It also has wings which bring the total width to 15/16.

I hope you can help identify a replacement part number.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We can help supply this balance but it will have to be a custom order due to its configuration. The pulley wheel is built into the bottom fitting itself and this balance features an extended cord travel as well as a metal channel length ending in 5/8" which is what makes it custom. For example, the metal channel should be 32-5/8" long. Can you triple-check that for us to be safe? In case it indeed measures 32-5/8" long, can you tell me the number of balances you're looking to replace?

As for the top sash guide, I agree that the 18-171 looks like a match as long as the specifications match up.
