Channel balance is approximately 22 inches long 1/2 inch wide with the numbers 21B and B.S.I. stamped on it.
Top sash Balance guide has one hole for screw.

Thanks for posting. First, how about our S390-22? Could that be a match? I also recommend the 2120 option, but you might want to weigh the sash and compare it to the rating shown for that option just to make sure it's a match. As for the top sash guide, it looks similar to our 18-142. What do you think?

I tried calling to talk to someone about which window balance I should order and they had no reference of my original inquiry. I was speaking to a Susan M on the phone. She asked me to forward the email to her, which I did, but I never heard back from her.

So here's the question, my sash weighs 14 pounds, which channel balance do I order?

Did you see the weight rating chart under the S390-22, like I mentioned? If your sash is 14 pounds, then you should go with the 2130 option. Two balances with that option can carry a window sash weight range of 12 through 15 pounds.
